Brunch in NY

Brunch in NY

Saturday and Sunday brunch is a must for any new yorker or visitor, that cold mimosa with breakfast, ending with a hot latte has no comparison.

In the list you are going to find a lot of french brunch recommendations since these are my go to cravings, one of my favorites is definitely Croque Madame.

I loved to do brunch so here are my recommendations of some of my favorite places to brunch newyorker style!

Sarabeths (40 Central Park S): is one of the most popular but with good reason, the mimosas are incredible and a must when coming here for brunch. I order here depending if I'm feeling sweet or savory. For sweet the lemon ricotta pancakes are O M G so light and creamy I die. For savory I have to go with the eggs benedict with an extra side of bacon, the hollandaise sauce is divine and the bacon extra crispy. I finish every meal with a hot latte with whole milk, perfect way to start any day.

Tartine (253 W 11th St): it is a very small for brunch and not at all fancy, the pastries are amazing a must try, and for ordering the croque madam does the trick. The croque madame comes with perfectly golden brown fromage on the outside accompanied by a perfect poached egg, YES!

Buvette (42 Grove St): is the definition of french brunch, the place is divine, tiny tables, tiny plates, big flavor! I love the different juices they have, be sure to order one alongside your late (of course). For sweet eating the croissants are buttery amazing, fr savory the croque madame amazing or scramble eggs with bacon YES!

Lafayette (380 Lafayette St): is also a very popular brunch spot located obvi on lafayette street, the croque madame is a favorite here, the bread is delightful, the ham, cheese and egg blend perfectly and everything is tied together with some amazing french fries on the side.

Catch NY (21 9th Ave): I love Catch for so many delicious reasons, one of them is the weekend brunch they serve. A must try for the sweet tooth is the gluten free waffle tower, with maple syrup and ice cream you cannot miss. They always have specials on the menu and this black label burger was one of them and left me deliciously full for the rest of the day.
